Many foreign horses will be present in this European event, and some of these applications promise to be formidable. This is the case of Chestnut (14)which our expert Cédric Bloquet placed at the top of his selection. Daniel Redén’s protégé finds a shorter distance, but his first two attempts of the meeting are good and the entry seems more than interesting. Another visitor to watch very closely is Chitchat (10)who will have to deal with a second row start behind the car, but with a theoretical first chance. Behind, the delicate Harena de Marzy (2) can be redeemed, while profiles like those of Beautiful Day (12)ultra-regular, or Fetlock Joint (13)whose re-entry has been noticed, can be held quite high on the tickets. To complete his selection, Cédric Bloquet chose the names of G.K.Justus (4), Maggiore (15) et Gentleman of Varenne (7).
Cédric Bloquet’s prediction in ParisTurf: 14 – 10 – 2 – 12 – 13 – 4 – 15 – 7
“100% Quinté” show: Samuel Marchesseau takes priority Beautiful Day
In the show “100% Quinté”, Samuel Marchesseau presented the selection of his favorite horses. He held back Beautiful Day as first choice. Here are some excerpts from the show available on the ParisTurf YouTube page.
Beautiful Day (12) : “She always made the finish this year and won four times. Alessandro Gocciadoro, his coach, has won the last two editions of the event and his success inspires confidence”.
Gentleman of Varenne (7) : “He will take his first steps in Vincennes. With a number on the front line, he displays remarkable statistics when presented barefoot. It can act as a base.”
Chestnut (14) : “His last two attempts at Vincennes are good. He doesn’t have the best number behind the car but he’s a potential winner. Those around him are also in good form at the moment. This competitor also has good statistics.”
Harena de Marzy (2) : “This mare remains on three disqualifications, which does not inspire confidence at first glance. But it will be presented in an optimal configuration and will be driven by Éric Raffin, in the race for a record. She has a nice burst of speed and is number 2 behind the autostart. We will have to be wary of it”.
Fetlock Joint (13) : “His return to school was really very good. He must logically be able to play a leading role.”
