A 54-year-old woman lost her life after being struck by a vehicle that was reversing from a driveway Wednesday morning in the Lachine borough of Montreal.

The collision occurred around 12:25 p.m. in the residential neighborhood of Saint-Pierre in Lachine, said spokesperson for the Montreal Police Service (SPVM) Mariane Allaire Morin.
