The Redmi Turbo 3 doesn't have a successor yet, but previous reports have suggested that it is close to launch. However, for the upcoming lineup, Xiaomi would introduce a Pro variant, and according to Digital Chat Station, this Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will bring performance-oriented specifications.

Specifically, the reliable tipster reports that the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will feature the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8s Elite. This report does not specify how much this SoC will be improved over the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, but previous reports have suggested that its performance will be close to that of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Digital Chat Station reports that this new SoC will be paired with a 7,000 mAh battery. The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro would thus be one of the very first sub-flagship phones to have a battery of such capacity. As for charging, Xiaomi reportedly plans to offer 90W fast charging support (140W for the Anker 737 power bank, currently $106.48 on Amazon).

Furthermore, the Weibo tipster indicates that the phone will feature a quadruply curved LTPS display with a resolution of 1.5K. Digital Chat Station also adds that the material of the middle frame will be improved compared to the Redmi Turbo 3 but the back should still be glass.

As for the non-Pro Redmi Turbo 4, it would be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8400, which places it below the Pro variant. However, to keep the cost low, Xiaomi could use a plastic frame instead of the metal one in the Pro version of the device, which is under development, and Digital Chat Station previously reported that it would have a 6-capacity battery. 500 mAh, lower than that of the Pro variant. Both phones are expected to launch in April 2025.
