“Never again”: Blake Lively sues colleague Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment

Actress Blake Lively accuses her colleague Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment, claiming that he also began a public campaign to “destroy” her reputation, according to several American media.

The two actors met on the set of the film based on the novel by Colleen Hoover, It Ends with Us (Never again).

Some media had already mentioned a hostile work environment between the two adults. To review Mr. Baldoni's alleged inappropriate actions and to try to resolve the matter, a meeting was held with several individuals involved, including Blake Lively's husband, Ryan Reynolds, TMZ first reported.

The one who is also the director of the film could no longer “show photos or videos of naked women to [Lively]”, nor “talk about his former addiction to pornography”, nor “talk about his personal experiences related to sexuality”, nor ask for “information from the coach of [Lively] without his knowledge to know his weight,” among other things, said the magazine People.

However, according to the 37-year-old actress, it was after this meeting that things got worse. She believes that Mr. Baldoni would have started a campaign of “social manipulation” to “destroy” his reputation, said the American magazine.

She added in her complaint that the “emotional impact” was devastating for her, but also for her husband and four children.

Baldoni replies

The actor's lawyers quickly responded, saying the allegations were “false and outrageous, with the intent to publicly harm him.”

The conflict between the two actors went viral on social networks a few months ago, where Internet users were divided. M was particularly criticized forme Lively for being disconnected from the main theme of the film, which is domestic violence.

For his part, Mr. Baldoni had done the majority of the red carpets alone to promote the film. Others involved in the film, like Colleen Hoover and Jenny Slate (who plays Allysa), no longer follow the man on social media. Actor Brandon Sklenar, who plays the role of Atlas, also defended the women in this production in an Instagram post last summer.
