Signature of a partnership agreement to accelerate the digitalization of exchanges between courts and companies

This tripartite agreement marks a crucial step in the modernization of the judicial system and in strengthening trust between citizens and institutions.

As part of efforts aimed at strengthening digitalization and innovation in the judicial and insurance sectors, a tripartite partnership agreement was signed this Monday, December 16, 2024, in Casablanca, between the Ministry of Justice, the Authority of Insurance and Social Security Control (ACAPS) and the Moroccan Insurance Federation (FMA). It was signed by Abdellatif Ouahbi, Minister of Justice, Abderrahim Chaffai, President of ACAPS, and Bachir Baddou, Deputy Vice-President of the FMA.

This agreement aims to simplify and modernize exchanges between Moroccan courts and insurance companies through an advanced digital platform, allowing effective management of data and legal procedures.

In this context, this agreement aims to:

  • Improve the efficiency of legal procedures, by providing interested parties with immediate access to judicial data relating to insurance;
  • Accelerate the execution of judgments through the optimization of compensation mechanisms for victims and the monitoring of files linked to insurance companies;
  • Digitize legal procedures by simplifying exchanges and automating processes using a dedicated digital platform;
  • Strengthen the quality of services by allowing each insurance company to have a personal account to monitor its files easily and in real time.

On this occasion, Abdellatif Ouahbi, Minister of Justice, declared that this convention marked a crucial step in the modernization of the judicial system and in strengthening trust between citizens and institutions. “Thanks to this digital platform, we reaffirm our commitment to a more efficient and transparent judicial administration, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God help him, to reform public administration,” he added.

For his part, Abderrahim Chaffai, President of ACAPS, stressed that this partnership reflected the common desire of the three parties to improve interactions between insurance companies and citizens, by guaranteeing more of transparency and efficiency in the processing of legal cases relating to the insurance sector.

For his part, Bachir Baddou, Deputy Vice-President of the FMA, affirmed that the signing of this agreement illustrated the firm commitment of the Federation to promote digital innovation in the insurance sector, thus contributing to improving the customer experience. and to strengthen the quality of the services offered.

It should be noted that this agreement constitutes a major step forward towards the generalization of digital courts in Morocco and the improvement of services offered to citizens and businesses. It demonstrates the commitment of the three signatory parties to guarantee the success of this project by strengthening innovation, increasing process efficiency and ensuring the sustainability of digital initiatives.

Furthermore, the signatory parties reaffirmed their determination to mobilize all the necessary resources to guarantee the optimal implementation of the agreement and to explore new avenues for the development of the digitalization of public services.
