After starting out at the age of 14, Marisa Paredes’ career took on a new dimension after her first collaboration in 1983 with director Pedro Almódovar, for the film “In the Darkness”.
They will then work together for “Heels”, “The flower of my secret”, “All about my mother”, “Parle avec elle” and “La piel que habito”, in 2011, their last collaboration.
Rewarded among others by an honorary Goya in 2018, during the Spanish equivalent of the Césars ceremony, Marisa Paredes has also appeared in international productions such as “Life is beautiful”, by the Italian Roberto Benigni, or “ The Devil’s Back”, by Mexican Guillermo del Toro.
