The challenges of expanding compulsory health insurance are also discussed, emphasizing the importance of attracting and retaining contributions from target groups. The reform also aims to strengthen public health institutions, increasing their capacity to respond to the growing demand for care, which would help financially stabilize the health system.
The Court of Auditors calls for an in-depth review of the governance of social protection, in particular of the National Social Security Fund, to adapt to new requirements and responsibilities, and ensure better alignment with the needs of all regions of the Kingdom.
