In South Korea, the far right is mobilized against the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol

The dismissal of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, voted on Saturday December 14 by the National Assembly, in response to his decree establishing martial law on December 3, does not pass muster within the ultra-conservative movement embodied by the movement Evangelical Protestant. During his rally – half-sermon, half-political meeting – on Sunday, December 15, in Gwanghwamun, in the center of Seoul, Pastor Jeon Kwang-hoon, a major figure in this movement, addressed several thousand of his flock on the vote, the day before by the National Assembly, the dismissal of Mr. Yoon.
