The body of a 15-year-old girl was found on Sunday December 15 near Limoges, the victim of several stab wounds. The young man, also 15 years old, with whom she had a meeting, was arrested and admitted to being the author of the fatal blows.
Inès' disappearance was reported on December 13 by her family when the teenager had a meeting with a young man of her age. On social networks, numerous messages relayed the photo of the teenager with her description. According to the first elements of the investigation, it was through Snapchat that the two young people decided to meet, but the teenager never came back.
Alerted, the police then tried to trace the young man she had planned to meet. Quickly, on December 14, an individual was arrested: a 15-year-old teenager who lives in the same town as the young girl.
“She was a very happy young girl.”
Faced with the police, he quickly admitted having ambushed the latter and while in police custody, he explained that he planned to steal her cell phone. A lead that investigators are currently working to verify.
He also admits to being the author of the stabbings. According to the Limoges Prosecutor, Emilie Abrantes, the suspect is unknown to the police.
The victim, a 3rd grade school student, very popular with his friends, had been practicing combat sports for several months. “She was a very happy young girl, but she was not in the habit of letting herself be carried away,” according to those around her.
