Miss Martinique 2024, Angélique Angarni-Filopon, a 34-year-old flight attendant, oldest candidate in the history of the competitionwas elected Miss France 2025 Saturday evening on TF1, live from Futuroscope in Poitiers.
If she obtained the crown, synonymous with best ranking, Angélique Angarni-Filopon was not the big favorite of the public. In the first round, it was Miss Guadeloupe who topped viewers' preferences. During the second round, the votes of the jurors and public respectively counted for 50% of the final score. Miss Martinique won the crown with 9 points (4 from the public and 5 from the jury), but it was Miss Nord-Pas-De-Calais who collected the 5 points from the public.
On the theme of the “grand misses ball”the 30 regional candidates participated in one-piece swimsuits, regional costumes, sexy outfits and ball gowns, in around ten scenes choreographed to yéyé music, country music, hits from the 90s, wild flamenco, salsa and… a Mozart concerto.
Chaired this year by the singer Sylvie Vartan, the Miss France 2025 jury, again 100% female, was notably composed of the Olympic champion Marie-José Pérec and the host and stylist Cristina Cordula. If the jury placed Angélique Angarni-Filopon in the lead, it was Nord-Pas-de-Calais which won the favor of the public, according to the detailed results revealed by the justice commissioner in charge of this election.
