Taylor Swift has completed her super Eras tour, which was a worldwide triumph and is a huge financial success. According to “People”, the singer would have distributed generous bonuses to her entire team. She reportedly distributed $197 million in bonuses to everyone who participated in the shows.
Taylor Swift reportedly offered bonuses worth $197 million to artists and crew on her tour, The Eras Tour.
The singer-songwriter concluded her 149 dates with a concert in Vancouver, Canada, this past weekend.
While we learned that the Eras Tour was the most lucrative tour of all time, “People” journalists reported on December 9 that Taylor Swift had distributed $197 million in bonuses to everyone who worked on production. According to the media outlet, the awarded staff includes “truck drivers, caterers, instrument technicians, merchandising team, lighting, sound, production staff and assistants, carpenters, dancers, the band, the security officers, the choreographers, the pyrotechnics team, the editors, the hair stylists, the makeup artists, the costume designers, the physiotherapists and the video team.
Taylor Swift’s publicists have yet to comment on this information, but the “Cruel Summer” singer, who is a millionaire solely thanks to her music, has rewarded her teams with super bonuses before. In August 2023, sources revealed to “People” that she had distributed $55 million in bonuses to employees in addition to their salaries after the end of the North American leg of her singing tour.
That same Monday, December 9, Taylor Swift Touring officials also confirmed to the “New York Times” that tickets had been sold for a total of $2,077,618,725. This sum represents “double the gross ticket sales of any other concert tour in history.” An impressive record, therefore.
Before singing “Lover” at her latest concert in Canada, Taylor Swift thanked her fans for their support.
“We traveled all over the world with this tour. We have had so many adventures. It’s the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense and difficult thing I’ve ever done in my entire life. We were able to perform in front of over 10 million people during this tour. And tonight we have the opportunity to play one last show for you, here, tonight, in the beautiful city of Vancouver. We are about to have one last great adventure together,” Taylor Swift said.
