The Storm Darragh passes through the north west of Saturday December 7, 2024. In Dieppe (Seine-Maritime), wind gusts of more than 110 km/h were recorded around noon. Damage has been caused, be careful! We take stock:

  • A Dieppea tree fell in the François-Mitterrand Parknot far from Dieppe National scene. There was no damage or injuries.
  • A Dieppethe construction site of point Colbertau Polletat its initial location, is affected. However, tarpaulins seemed to have been put up to protect the materials. But they did not hold due to the strong gusts of wind.
  • A Saint-Pierre-le-Vieuxa road is blocked this Sunday December 8, 2024. This is rue de l’Eglise. Indeed, a tree fell at the fork. The situation should have been resolved at the end of the morning but caution remains in order.
  • In Martigny, two trees threaten to fall on the roadway on the Quévremont coast and another path to the Château d'Arques. The coast is therefore closed to traffic from the bottom up to the intersection with the Route du Beaumaine. Elected officials are on site to ensure the safety of residents.

  • A Saint-Aubin-sur-Scietrees fell on the roadway around noon. “The situation is dangerous,” emphasized Mayor Frédéric Canto. The services of Dirno, the interdepartmental direction of North-West roads, were on site to clear the road, at the Dieppe SPA, between the town of Saint-Aubin-sur-Scie and the Mégival roundabout. In the afternoon, traffic was able to resume normally.
  • A Longueville-sur-Scietrees fell on the roads. The mayor of the town indicates: “Following the gusts of wind that we have been experiencing since the beginning of the morning, several trees have fallen on the roads and in particular rue Gauthier-Giffard (RD77) place called de la Madeleine. With the Roads Department teams, we chose to block the road for safety. The Enedis teams will intervene as soon as possible and in agreement with the roads management to cut the branch which remains unresolved on the electrical wire. The owner is notified of the operation. » The mayor hopes that everything will be back to normal on Sunday December 8, 2024.

  • A Dieppethe wrestling tournament which was to take place at the Robert-Vain gymnasium on Sunday December 8, 2024, in Neuville-lès-Dieppe, was canceled for security reasons. Damage was noted this Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the end of the morning.
  • A Saint-Germain-d'Etablestrees were uprooted by the force of the wind. Telecom cables were then torn out in these areas: route de , ruelle de l'Eglise, Allée des Platanes, Allée des Epines. Recovery will take several days, notes the town hall on its Facebook page.
