DAKAR (Senegal) – Over the years, ASC Ville de Dakar has become one of the most successful clubs in Senegal and, as host of the Women’s League Africa (WBLA) 2024, is expected to bring home a fifth women’s title.

Since its inception, the ASC has been a women’s team and introduced a men’s team in 2014.

The four-time Women’s Nationale 1 champions qualified as tournament hosts. This is the fourth time that Senegal will be represented at the WBLA.

She also participated in the 2022 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup, proving that Dabou is no stranger to big events.
