In the ranking, Fribourg-Gottéron (12th) is one rank ahead of Geneva-Servette (13th). At the start of the season, few people would have thought that the runner-up of the Zurich Lions during the last regular season and then semi-finalist in the play-offs, like the last winner of the Champions League, would find themselves in such a bad position at the end of November.

After this Monday’s match, Jan Cadieux’s players, however, remain on a positive note. Led 4-0 then 5-2 by Ambri-Piotta, they finally won 6-5 in overtime, ending a series of six consecutive defeats at home. With the match against Fribourg-Gottéron, Genève-Servette will play its fifth match in a week. Will the Garnets be tired?

Good news for Friborg Gottéron. Injured for more than a month, Nathan Marchon will be able to return to action against Genève-Servette. He should be lined up alongside Jakob Lilja and Julien Sprunger. RadioFr. met him at the end of training on Tuesday:

For this duel against Genève-Servette, the Swede Jakob de la Rose, who had to return to the country for personal reasons and who will return to Switzerland on Wednesday afternoon, will be the extra foreigner. He will be replaced by his compatriot Jakob Lilja.

Coach Pat Emond will still be without defenders Yannick Rathgeb (he trained individually on Tuesday, but did not participate in the collective session) and Mauro Dufner (not yet ready to play in a match).

Genève-Servette against Fribourg-Gottéron, a duel to experience on Frapp and on RadioFr. from 7:30 p.m.
