Progress in the case of the mayor of Mabo Aliou Cissé, injured by a projectile during a navetane final of which he was the godfather.
The Birkelane territorial brigade referred two suspects to the Kaffrine high court last Monday. City councilor Aliou Cissé was hit in the face by a stone. Following the investigation carried out by the gendarmerie, the case was transmitted to the Kaffrine public prosecutor’s office in the form of judicial information. However, the public prosecutor recently ordered the arrest of the two members of Pastef, Mr. Sakho and Mr. Cissé, who are suspected of being involved in this “aggression”. Presented to the prosecutor last Monday, they were placed in pre-trial detention, according to seneweb. They should be tried in flagrante delicto, probably this Wednesday.
It should be noted that during the legislative campaign of November 17, the mayor claimed to have forgiven his attackers, but it seems that the situation has evolved, and it is clearly no longer a question.
