A small plane crashed yesterday, Monday, in a mountainous area of ​​Costa Rica. The results: five dead and one person injured. It is a 31-year-old woman, according to the Red Cross. The information was confirmed by firefighters who declared that most of the passengers were dead.

According to Red Cross spokesperson Patricia Solorzano Cordero, the woman was taken through a remote forest to an ambulance waiting nearby as midnight approached. According to him, the walk should last at least three hours.

The plane was carrying the pilot, co-pilot and a family. All passengers were from Costa Rica, according to the Civil Aviation Authority.
