Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has welcomed a new member to its long-haul fleet. Sunday, November 24, at 10:20 a.m., the national airline’s tenth Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner landed at Casablanca’s Mohammed V airport, marked by the traditional “Water Salute”, a symbolic ceremony celebrating the new arrivals.
With this new aircraft, RAM continues to consolidate its fleet dedicated to long-haul flights, which now numbers ten aircraft. This strengthening is part of the company’s overall development strategy, initiated by the signing of an ambitious program contract with the government in July 2023.

According to the company’s press release, this delivery constitutes a first step in an expansion plan which provides for the integration of an eleventh Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner before the end of 2024. These new aircraft will allow RAM to diversify its international destinations and increase its global reach.
Among the expected new features, RAM plans to launch new direct connections to cities such as São Paulo, Toronto and Beijing. Thanks to these acquisitions, Royal Air Maroc confirms its desire to remain at the forefront of the airline industry.
