Former Health Minister Aurélien Rousseau leads in Yvelines against outgoing MP Nadia Hai

Emmanuel Macron’s former minister and New Popular Front (NFP) candidate Aurélien Rousseau arrived on Sunday June 30 at the top of the first round of the legislative elections in Yvelines.

In the 7th constituency of this department, he is credited with 34.68% of the votes cast, ahead of his presidential majority competitor Nadia Hai (29.32%). A possible triangular is looming for the second round with Les Républicains (LR) regional councilor Babette de Rozières, in favor of an alliance between her party and the National Rally (RN), which obtained 25.79% of the votes.
