Lausanne-Sport won the French-speaking derby against Sion on the 15th day of the Super League. A success from Okou in the 81st changed a match which seemed destined to end 0-0.
This success of the LS is valuable in view of the race for the first six places. With 23 points, Ludovic Magnin’s team is now on the right side of the bar. For their part, the Valaisans remain at 17 units, in 8th place.
Sion slightly dominated in the first half while LS were more enterprising after tea. Clear chances were rare. Chouaref had the best for the Valaisans (35th), while Fayulu made a magnificent save on a recovery from Sanches (55th). But his exploit was ultimately in vain, since Okou snatched the three points after a service from Oviedo, decisive a few seconds after coming into play.
