DECRYPTION – In a report presented today to the National Assembly, the wise men regret that these services, often on the verge of breakdown, are seeing an influx of patients who should not be their responsibility.
The residents of Carhaix demonstrating against the nighttime regulation of emergencies, an investigation opened after the death of a patient in Hyères, an average waiting time of 8.3 hours in Nantes… The emergency crisis does not seem to want to end , and the measures taken within the framework of the My Health 2022 plan (in 2018), the emergency overhaul pact (2019) and Ségur de la santé (2020) have not worked miracles. This is the conclusion of the Court of Auditors which has just issued a report drawn up at the request of the Social Affairs Committee of the Assembly drawing up « an inventory of the functioning of emergency structures ».
