Rabat – The Royal Family and the Moroccan people celebrate, on Tuesday, the birthday of Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, who has made climate action and the dissemination of environmental culture her hobby horse.

This happy event, celebrated on November 19 each year, constitutes a renewed opportunity to highlight the multiple and noble works of HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, President of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, which continues to stand out through his personal commitment in the areas of charity and diplomacy, as well as culture and climate.

Thus, on December 1, 2023, His Royal Highness represented His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the work of the Global Climate Action Summit, organized in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, as part of the 28th Conference of the Parties to the Convention- United Nations framework on climate change (COP28).

On December 6, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, President of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, visited “The UAE House of Sustainability” pavilion and the Pavilion of the Kingdom of Morocco at the 28th Conference of the Parties on climate change.

Also within the framework of COP28, Her Royal Highness participated, on December 8, in the first annual High Level meeting of the “Partnership for Green Education” initiative, organized by UNESCO and the Ministry of Education. of the United Arab Emirates.

On February 19, and on the Very High Instruction of HM the King, LL.AA.RR Princesses Lalla Meryem, Lalla Asmaa and Lalla Hasnaa were received for lunch at the Élysée Palace, at the invitation of Madame Brigitte Macron .

On May 21, 2024, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa chaired, in Fez, the Board of Directors of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, before proceeding, on the same day, to the inauguration of the Lahboul historic park of Meknes after its renovation.

Three days later, His Royal Highness chaired, in Fez, the opening ceremony of the 27th edition of the Fez Festival of World Sacred , organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, under the theme: “The quest for the Spirit of Al-Andalus”.

On October 14, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, President of the Foundation for the Safeguarding of the Cultural Heritage of Rabat, chaired the Board of Directors of the Foundation.

His Royal Highness also chaired, on October 20 in Rabat, the Longines Global Champions Tour 2024 Show Jumping Grand Prix, a prestigious competition which took place for the first time on African soil, as part of of the Morocco-Qatar Cultural Year 2024.

On the 24th of the same month, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa and HE Sheikha Al Mayassa Bint Hamad Al Thani chaired, at the El Badii Palace in Marrakech, the gala dinner of the “Fashion Trust Arabia”, an event organized as part of the Qatar-Morocco Cultural Year 2024.

On October 29, Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, President of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, and Madame Brigitte Macron, visited the Rabat Botanical Test Garden.

Later in the day, and on the High Instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, accompanied by Mrs. Brigitte Macron, proceeded to the inauguration of the Royal Theater in Rabat.

The same day in the evening, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid and LL.AA.RR Princesses Lalla Khadija, Lalla Meryem, Lalla Asmaa and Lalla Hasnaa , offered, at the Royal Palace in Rabat, an official dinner in honor of the President of the French Republic, HE Emmanuel Macron and his wife Mrs. Brigitte Macron.

On November 1, Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, accompanied by HE Sheikha Al Mayassa Bint Hamad Al-Thani, proceeded, in Doha, to the inauguration of the Moroccan pavilion “Dar Al Maghrib”, an immersive space in culture and Moroccan history, arranged on the occasion of the Qatar-Morocco Cultural Year 2024.

Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa and HE Sheikha Al Mayassa Bint Hamad Al Thani then visited the exhibitions “Splendours of the Atlas, a journey through the heritage of Morocco” and “Ektashif: Morocco”, organized at the Museum of Islamic in Doha also as part of the Qatar-Morocco Cultural Year 2024.
