A 16-year adventure that is coming to an end. Alba Ventura leaves RTL at the end of the season, a house she arrived in August 2008 as deputy head of the political department. She had since become the flagship columnist for private radio, and had also conducted the 7:40 a.m. political interview for three years, from 2019 to 2022.

She will officiate at the start of the next school year as a columnist in “Bonjour!”, the TF1 morning show presented by Bruce Toussaint. “I am delighted to welcome Alba Ventura to the ‘Hello! The TF1’ morning show alongside Bruce Toussaint and the team of columnists. Alba is a great professional, a recognized and respected name among the public, the profession and the political sphere. She will enrich the morning show every morning with her analyzes and insights into a major current or political event.“, declared via a press release Thierry Thuillierthe deputy general director of information for the TF1 group. Alba Ventura for her part said “honored of this new challenge“.

Since this year, the 54-year-old political journalist has delivered two posts per day on RTL: one at 6:45 a.m. called “A point that’s all!” in the pre-morning hosted by Jérôme Florin and Marina Giraudeau, and the other, her editorial, at 7:15 a.m. in the morning show by Yves Calvi and Amandine Bégot. These two meetings have already found takers.

Isabelle Saporta back on RTL

RTL announced this Tuesday June 25 that the first would be collected by editor Isabelle Saporta, who “will look at a current event to give a clear opinioné”, according to a press release from the radio. The 48-year-old columnist had already provided a daily post on RTL in 2018 entitled “It’s like that”.

The 7:15 a.m. editorial will now be handled by the director of the weekly “Le Point” Étienne Gernelle. The latter is not his first attempt since he had already replaced Alba Ventura for this same editorial this season, when the editorialist of the house had to be absent for a few weeks in March/April.
