Abass Fall, head of Pastef’s list in the Dakar department for the legislative elections on November 17, fulfilled his duty as a citizen by voting. However, he mentioned the organization of the elections. He pointed out the absence of representatives of many coalitions in the polling stations. Mr. Fall demands reform of the electoral code.

“I have fulfilled my civic duty. It is a day of celebration for democracy. But what I saw in the polling stations calls for a reform of the electoral code. Out of 41 lists, only two (2) have of representatives in the polling stations. This poses a serious problem. We must think about rationalization. The right to participate in electoral competition is also essential to optimize the use of our scarce resources. “It is imperative to review the conditions of participation and organization, as well as to rationalize the electoral lists,” he stressed.

Confident, Abass Fall assured that Pastef will achieve victory in Dakar.

“We are going to take back Dakar. During the last elections, we achieved feats. Pastef is far superior to those who claim to be the owners of Dakar. We will continue this momentum and beat them without question,” he said. affirmed.

In a touch of irony, he mocked Barthélémy Dias: “I’m meeting everyone at 7 p.m. to dance the ‘Dias’,” he declared with a smile.
