5b5fb43194.jpgThere are always surprises at the Hospices de charity wine sale. Orchestrated by Sotheby's, the Presidents' piece saw bids rise to 360,000 euros… under the quadruple impetus of the four presidents: Eva Longoria, Jean Reno, Dominic West, Zabou Breitman. Dominiq West was the driving force behind the sale.
Médecins sans Frontières for a very innovative project against Dengue in Honduras and Global Gifi Foundation for Children will ultimately share 460,000 euros.
Indeed, once the hammer fell, a regular buyer of the sale added a donation of 100,000 euros.

Which therefore represents an increase of 31.42% compared to last year. The start of the sale saw rather rising bids on the great wines. White or red.
It is a Brazilian Alaor Pereira Lino, established in Beaune for 25 years and who selects and ships wines to South America, starting with Brazil which raised the stakes to 360,000 euros. While it was Francine Picard from Maison Picard de Chagny, who added the 100,000 euros.
