A rollover that occurred on the Pierre-Laporte bridge around dinner time on Friday caused significant slowdowns in the north direction.
Motorists leaving from the south shore to reach the north shore by taking the Pierre-Laporte bridge must be patient on Friday, due to an accident that occurred shortly after 12:30 p.m.
According to the Sûreté du Québec, a trailer truck collided with a car, which rolled over.
No passenger had to be transported to a hospital center, specifies the spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec, Béatrice d’Orsainville.
Significant traffic jams were observed on the south bank at the start of the afternoon. On Highway 20 westbound, traffic was slow from at least Saint-Jean-Chrysostome. Traffic was also heavy on Highway 73 northbound from Breakeyville.
