Investments mobilized for the implementation of programs relating to city and housing policy in the Guelmim-Oued Noun region reached 3.5 billion DH, affirmed the Secretary of State responsible for Habitat, Adib Benbrahim.
During the opening, last Saturday, in Mahbès, of the 3rd national Green March festival, which the Ministry of National Territorial Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and Urban Policy launched , in partnership with several government sectors, numerous structuring programs in the Guelmim-Oued Noun region, with investments amounting to nearly 2.31 billion DH, to which the ministry contributes up to of 866 million DH. He added that these important investments relate in particular to rehabilitation and urban development projects in various towns and rural centers, in particular the regional development program of Guelmim-Oued Noun, the preservation program of the medina of Guelmim, as well as the urban rehabilitation programs for the towns of Assa, Zag, Sidi Ifni and Lakhsass.
