Dover had one of the best performances in the league this weekend. At the Pierre Roux Gymnase, Ndeye Khady Sène and her teammates welcomed and beat Coquelles (75-53) in Women’s Nationale 2.
A week after their defeat against Calais (57-72), the Normans left no doubt. During the reception of Coquelles, Ndeye Khady and his team were infallible in dominating the visitors in a very controlled match, notably with a seven-point lead at the break (42-35).
During the second period, Dover accelerated again to distance itself, which proved effective since the Normans won the third quarter with a 21-point lead (61-40). Dover produced an excellent final quarter to take victory with a 22-point lead. As usual, Ndeye Khady Sène once again produced a very clean performance during his team’s victory by recording 15 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 interception in 33 minutes of play.
