High Royal Directives: A structured program for the management of MRE affairs

The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, announced the establishment of a structured program aimed at bringing about a transformation in the management of the affairs of Moroccans living abroad (MRE). This initiative is part of the High Royal Vision, expressed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI during his speech for the Green March, emphasizing the importance of meeting the expectations and needs of the Moroccan community abroad. .

This ambitious program provides for a restructuring of theCouncil of the Moroccan Community Abroad” as well as the creation of the “Mohammedia Foundation for Moroccans Living Abroad“. These measures aim to strengthen efficiency and institutional coordination, while facilitating support and assistance for MREs in different areas.

A launch meeting took place in Rabat, in the presence of several ministers and senior officials, including the ministers of Interior, Foreign Affairs, Habous and Islamic Affairs, as well as finance and youth. The latter expressed their commitment to realizing this vision through structuring actions for the Moroccan community.

Additional meetings are planned in the coming weeks to ensure the rapid and effective implementation of this Royal Vision. This program, symbol of a common desire to improve the conditions of MRE, aims to strengthen links between Morocco and its citizens abroad, while ensuring better convergence of institutional efforts to respond to current challenges.
