In a press release made public, the General Directorate of Land Use Surveillance and Control (DGSCOS) announced, in a memo, the extension of the suspension of all land operations on several strategic sites in the country.

This measure, formalized by letter No. 0205/PM/MSGG/DGSCOS/SP of July 31, 2024, extends for a period of forty-five (45) additional days, from October 31, 2024, the ban on any new construction, with the exception of projects directly initiated by the State.

Thus, theThe areas affected by this new measure include:

BOA subdivision;
Pilgrims Hangar subdivision;
Recasement 2 subdivision – Dakar Airport;
EGBOS subdivision on the VDN, Dakar;
EOGEN 1 and EOGEN 2 subdivisions;
Battery site in Yoff;
South Terme, Ouakam;
Pôle Urbain de Diacksao – Bambilor (TF 11 651/R) ;
Urban Pole of Déni (TF 14 337/R);
Pointe Séréne site for the non-SAPCO zone;
Lotissement de Ndiobène Gandiol (TF 136), Saint-Louis.

The DGSCOS calls on zonal brigade commanders to ensure strict compliance with this decision in their areas of competence.
