The transit area, with an area of 3,000 m², is now equipped with two automated conveyor lines incorporating explosive detection systems (EDS), capable of processing up to 1,500 transit bags per hour. This system directs secure baggage to loading carousels, while baggage requiring verification is redirected to X-ray scanners. This innovation ensures better baggage flow, reducing waiting times and improving passenger security. operations.
The arrival baggage claim area has also been redesigned to meet the needs of passengers. Seven of the ten conveyor belts have been replaced by the latest generation equipment, offering improved processing capacity and significantly reducing waiting times.
