The national team will face its counterpart from Gabon on Friday, November 15 in Franceville for the fifth day of the qualifiers for the Morocco-2025 African Cup of Nations.

According to well-informed sources, national coach Walid Regragui should announce his list of players called up for this meeting as well as that against Lesotho on November 7.

The Atlas Lions gathering is scheduled for November 11 at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maâmora, underline the same sources.

A new internship in Saïdia

The trip to Gabon should take place three days later. But long before, a delegation from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) should be in Franceville to prepare for the Nationals’ stay.

Furthermore, the Atlas Lions should return to the Kingdom as soon as the match is over. An internship is therefore planned at the Federal Regional Football Center in Saïdia to prepare for the match against Lesotho scheduled for November 18 at the Stade d’Honneur in Oujda.

As a reminder, Morocco, qualified for CAN 2025 as host country, occupies the head of the standings of its group B with 12 points following four victories in as many matches. It is followed by Gabon (7 points). The Central African Republic is 3rd with 3 points while Lesotho brings up the rear with a single point.
