A Mobility customer recently made a most unusual discovery while renting a car in Vevey (VD): a three-month-old kitten had sneaked into the vehicle and spent the night there, alone.

Distraught, the rental company telephoned the company, which immediately contacted the local police. Officers took the little cat to an area animal shelter. But where did it come from? To find out, Mobility contacted the person who had rented the same vehicle just before. The latter explained that the day before, she had parked it at a farm where kittens had recently been born. So it seems that one of the kittens slipped discreetly into the car. “Our employee did everything to understand where this kitten came from and ensure that he was well,” explains a Mobility spokesperson.

Touched by the story told to her, the first client went to the shelter in question and brought the kitten back to the farm where it came from. “In the end, everything turned out well,” says the woman who once owned a cat herself. Since then, she plans to adopt the kitty as soon as he is old enough.

Mobility, which made the story public on its social networks, takes this discovery philosophically: “With 3,000 cars throughout Switzerland and around 270,000 users, it happens almost daily that objects are forgotten,” indicates the spokesperson. word of the company. However, the little cat stands out: keys, cell phones, wallets and trash are more common.
