The Good News
There is not one, but 13! The “Watch of the Year” event has just crowned its favorite tocantes for 2024 and unveiled a brand new model that pays tribute to a great champion.
The 2024 edition “ The Watch of the Year » selected its winners from 114 watches nominated by French and international journalists. This year, the event, organized at the Automobile Club de France in Paris and directed by Frank Sans C, saw a total of 121,447 votes, a record for its third edition.

What watches made 2024?
The list spanned 11 categories meeting price criteria, with one new feature: the introduction of the “Connected Watches” category. Thirteen watches were distinguished, selected for their design, their precision, and their technical innovations. Among the winners, classic watches rub shoulders with models incorporating the latest digital advances, highlighting the variety and versatility of contemporary watchmaking.
With more than 200 guests from senior management of watch brands and specialized media, this edition demonstrates a growing interest in a sector where tradition and technology intersect, confirming the importance of the event in the watchmaking calendar annual.

The selection method
Under the leadership of the editorial director of The Watch ReviewStephan Ciejka, the selection committee made up of French and international journalists made a nomination of models, divided into eleven categories. The nominees were then submitted to the choice of the public who had the opportunity to vote for one piece or several – with a maximum of 3 choices – per category.
