Wembanyama wakes up and slaps a “five-by-five” against Jazz

The storm has passed for Wemby. After his monumental failure against the Thunder, where he did not cross the 10-point mark, Victor Wembanyama this time took care of the stats sheet against Utah, during the Spurs' clear victory (106-88). The Frenchman did not do it by half measures: from nothing, he went to his second career five-by-five, with 25 points (4/13 at three points), nine rebounds, seven assists, five interceptions and five blocks. Solid.

After an average start to the game, Wemby pulled off some spectacular actions, between blocks and dunks served by Chris Paul (19 points, 10 assists), to offer a second success this season to the Texans. Last in the West, Jazz made things easier. Where the Thunder had excelled defensively, Utah never gave the impression of being able to contain Victor Wembanyama, who took the opportunity to work on his complicity with CP3 and sharpen his sense of passing. Good for confidence. But we will have to do just as well against adversity worthy of the name.
