A find as intriguing as it is mysterious. A human skull wrapped in newspaper more than fifty years old was discovered Thursday in a garage in , police said. The Isère police indicated in their daily press briefing that they had made the “discovery in a garage of a human skull, in a cauldron wrapped in a newspaper dating from 1967”.

The skull was discovered around 1 p.m. in the Chorier-Berriat district, a former industrial district in the west of the city, she details in a press release. The garage was “not really abandoned but not used for a long time,” Grenoble prosecutor Eric Vaillant told AFP.
