The south-east entrance gate to Pully looks dull. The building on avenue de Lavaux 54 is in very poor physical and technical condition, as is the Panchaude bridge, closed to traffic since 2017. “The risk of squatting in the building is worrying, while the area under the bridge is dark and unwelcoming,” notes Lucas Girardet, municipal Urban Planning and Environment. Placed for public inquiry these days, the Claire-Fontaine 2 land use plan project plans to demolish the dilapidated building and build two new ones, one of which would have around ten floors.
