Job Description :
We are looking for an Irrigation and Climate Manager to join our team. This position involves supporting the strategic planning and operational management of irrigation projects to ensure sustainable water use and climate resilience.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement irrigation strategies that optimize water use efficiency.
• Support the planning and implementation of climate adaptation to strengthen the resilience of agricultural practices.
• Monitor and analyze climate data to inform irrigation and climate strategies.
• Collaborate with farm leaders to integrate irrigation and climate strategies.
• Train and supervise irrigation technicians and field staff.
• Write regular reports on the performance of irrigation systems and climate adaptation measures, and propose improvements.
Requirements:
• Degree in agriculture, agricultural engineering, climatology or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing irrigation systems and climate strategies.
• Project management skills and ability to lead a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Mastery of computer tools and irrigation management software.
