Investigators have delivered their first conclusions.
He was the star of the group One Directiona famous British boy band formed during a talent show (X-Factor). A group in which Harry Styles notably made its debut. He is Liam Payneone of the leaders of the group which separated in 2015.

According to information from TMZ and La Nacion, the artist was found dead this Wednesday afternoon in Buenos Aires (Argentina) after falling from the balcony of his hotel room located on the 3rd floor. According to our colleagues, he first consumed drugs and alcohol, and showed aggressive behavior in public. He was then taken back to his room by members of the establishment’s staff before the tragedy.
“No reflex”
This Thursday, the Argentine justice system published a press release on the first results of the investigation. For the floor, no doubt as to the “consumption of alcohol and drugs” with a number of substances in the room (such as Clonazepam and stimulants), according to material and excerpts published by 324.cat.
“Everything suggests that the musician was alone when he fell and that he was going through some sort of crisis resulting from substance abuse”.
As a result, investigators even believe that Liam could have been “unconscious or in a state of semi-consciousness” at the time of his fall. Indeed, the position of the body when it was found and the injuries indicate that Liam “had no reflex to protect himself”.
