A statement from the President of the Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, in a letter addressed to the twenty-seven heads of state and government, meeting at a summit this Thursday in Brussels. Among the avenues mentioned, the definition of third countries « safe » where to send migrants back to « returns centers » outside the borders of the EU and even the « protocol » between Italy and Albania to subprocess asylum requests… « There are many ideas ; none are materially generalized for the moment »observes a European diplomat.
