ANDREA GLAUSER: “As we said before, we want to get better every game. We’re not at the top yet, we can still improve a lot, but today we took another step forward. Two matches without conceding a goal means we have good goalkeepers. Now we will focus on Canada and the rest will come day by day“.
ROMAIN LOEFFEL: “We started the game really well today, putting a lot of pressure on us. For their part, they tried a little, but we were able to be solid defensively at the end. It was a strong match from us and we will have to continue with the same intensity and the same commitment. Yes, there’s Hischier, Fiala and Josi, but it’s really all 22 guys on the ice who work for the team and want it to succeed“.

CHRISTOPH BERTSCHY: “We really managed to put them under pressure from the first to the last minute and impose our game, namely quick transitions, create play offensively and leave nothing behind defensively. We left them nothing until the last seconds, where Leonardo Genoni had to save his shutout. Otherwise, very good match from us. I’m very proud“.
“Today was like a home game for us, it was phenomenal. The fans came in droves, it was truly incredible. At the end, when we came off the ice and the whole rink started singing, it was the kind of moment that gives you chills. We are very happy about it“.
