This Wednesday afternoon, several police vehicles were seen at the entrance to the Scott Sports building in Givisiez. “Nothing serious happened. We intervened in a civil matter, a dispute between managers. In this type of case, the police are called to the scene to find a way to open a discussion, and for people to understand each other. But there are no injured or anyone arrested,” insists the Friborg police.

Over the hours, moreover, the system was able to be reduced. “At the very beginning, we check the information on the assumption that it is not rubbish. Then, when we see that the case is not serious, the patrols gradually withdraw,” continues spokesperson Bertrand Ruffieux.

This Tuesday’s dispute at Scott Sports is linked to the CEO replacement affair, which has been agitating the firm for several days. As a reminder, the specialist press announced on the eve of the Easter holidays the replacement, with immediate effect, of CEO Beat Zaugg. Information confirmed by the Korean company Youngone Corporation, majority shareholder of the equipment manufacturer. The Friborg leader, however, retorted on Tuesday that this was not the case and that he intended to finish his mandate.
