Armed with Katanas, sticks and crutches, around fifteen young people from the rival gangs of Balard and Beaugrenelle went blow for blow on Friday evening. Three individuals were injured, one seriously, and three others arrested.
The evening promised to be peaceful on the Beaugrenelle slab, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, this Friday at the end of the day. Residents strolled around the shopping center, around the Pablo-Casals square opposite, and in the neighboring rue Saint-Charles. When suddenly, before their eyes, a surge of violence erupted: a first clash between teenagers, around 6:30 p.m., followed by a second, then another. Until three of them were injured in these successive fights. One of them, a minor, seriously injured by a stab wound, was rushed to hospital.
That evening, these fifteen young people from the Balard gang on one side, and that of Beaugrenelle – called “RD 4” – on the other, some armed, surrendered blow for blow. “The brawl took place in several stages, in different places, in a gradual increase in violence”indicates to Figaro a police source.
