Michel Blanc, popular actor and director, died at the age of 72

Popular actor, director, screenwriter… The actor Michel Blanc, is dead, has learned The World Friday October 4, confirming information from Paris Match. He was 72 years old. “Fuck, Michel… What did you do to us…”reacted actor Gérard Jugnot on Instagram.

Michel Blanc was initially inseparable from the character of Jean-Claude Dusse, an endearing loser from cult comedies The Bronzed (1978)et Les Bronzés go skiing (1979)by Patrice Leconte, in which he toured with the Splendid troupe. He then did a series of comedies: Come to my house, I’m staying with a friend (Patrice Leconte, 1981), My wife’s name is come back (Patrice Leconte, 1982) or even Grandpa resists (Jean-Marie Poiré, 1983). He moved to directing in 1984 with the film Walk in the shade.
