Disneyland Paris announces pilot program to support female entrepreneurship in France • DisneylandParis News

At the WEConnect International conference dedicated to supplier diversity and inclusion in Europe, held at Disneyland , the President of Europe’s leading tourist destination, Natacha Rafalski, announced the launch next year of a pilot program, jointly with WEConnect International, aimed at encouraging the visibility and development of women-led businesses in .

For over thirty years, Disneyland Paris has strived to create unforgettable experiences for its visitors thanks to the talent of its Cast Members and the know-how of its suppliers.

In the previous fiscal year, the destination collaborated with approximately 4,000 companies, the majority of which are located in France. From artisans perpetuating traditional know-how to specialists using cutting-edge technologies: collaboration with suppliers who are experts in their field, including women-led businesses, helps bring the magic to life every day and exceed visitors’ expectations, while having a tangible economic impact on a local and national scale.

At the intersection of the destination’s commitments to diversity and inclusion, community support and positive economic impact, supplier diversity represents a key opportunity across all sectors of the business. As host of the Europe Supplier Diversity & Inclusion Conference organized by WEConnect International – the first event of its kind in Europe – Disneyland Paris highlighted its efforts not only by contributing to a series of engaging panels and workshops but also by taking the opportunity to announce its next initiative: a pilot program to help WEConnect International raise the profile of women-led businesses in the Paris region.

Next year, Disneyland Paris will support WEConnect International to bring together women-led businesses to participate in a customized program that includes workshops tailored to their expressed interests and needs, as well as mentorship opportunities with the Disneyland Paris team to help support the growth of their businesses. In parallel, Disneyland Paris aims to register and certify 100 women-led businesses in its own supply chain over the next three years through the WEConnect International organization.

Disneyland Paris believes that a broad diversity of suppliers contributes to delivering the best possible experiences while having a positive impact on its social and economic environment. With the launch of this pilot program, Disneyland Paris aims to make its own supply chain a true source of talent, innovative services and creative business solutions, while encouraging other companies to actively support women-led businesses on a larger scale.
