British Metalcore giants Architects return with the announcement of their eleventh studio album, The Sky, The Earth & All Betweendue out February 28, 2025 via Epitaph Records. To mark the occasion, the group released their third single, Whiplash.
A powerful single for a new era
Architects hits hard with Whiplashproduced by Jordan Fish and previewed on BBC Radio 1. True to its title, the song offers breathtaking intensity, mixing percussive riffs, heavy instrumentation and furious screams from Sam Carter. The song is also distinguished by a catchy chorus and a devastating breakdown, enough to satisfy metalcore fans.
Accompanying this release, a cinematic clip shot in Slovenia was directed by Specter, known for his collaborations with Rammstein. Dan Searle, drummer of the band, explains: “We have long admired Specter for his work. His artistic vision brought our words to life in a unique way, perhaps sparking more questions than answers, but that is often what makes art beautiful.”
Whiplash addresses deep themes such as tribalism and growing divisions within society. Dan Searle adds: “It allowed us to explore these concepts in new ways and, for the first time in a while, it gave us the fuel to write something truly fierce.”

The Sky, The Earth & All Between : a promising album
Expected for February 28, 2025, The Sky, The Earth & All Between is described by Sam Carter as a project where the group is “at his best”. This new album will combine raw energy and melodies designed for stadiums.
The first two singles, Seeing Red et Cursereleased in December 2023 and April 2024 respectively, have already accumulated more than 70 million streams, confirming the enthusiasm of fans.
