“I will never retire”: a unique opportunity for John 5

John 5 spoke about the rare opportunity he had when joining Mötley Crüe, after spending 17 years alongside Rob Zombie: “I want to live my life and, at this point, an opportunity like this is really rare. I still want to discover so much. I will never retire — I guarantee you that.”

“It was a weird transition”: John 5 talks public reaction

John 5 admitted that the transition between him and Mike Riggs was strange, especially for the public who were unaware of the situation behind the scenes. “The weird thing is that the public had no idea what was going on. All of a sudden there was Aftershock and I wasn’t there. So everyone was like, ‘What’s going on?’ But people quickly understood, and everything went well.”

Finally, he expressed his admiration for Rob Zombie’s new lineup: “I think Rob rocks, and his band is amazing. They’re having fun and enjoying the music, and that’s what matters most.”
