After hitting the headlines and the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games with his song “Nu”, Thouarsais Philippe Katerine is releasing a new single. Entitled “Total in the West”, he pays homage to this part of France where he lived as a child near Vendée. In the first verse, he slips in a little sentence related to Thouars. This is where I was born as a troubadour. He was in fact born in the town of Deux-Sèvres on December 8, 1968.
