(Los Angeles) The second opus of Criminal Squad, titled Panterasits at the top of the North American box office, according to estimates on Sunday from specialist firm Exhibitor Relations.

The film grossed $15.5 million and marks the return to the big screen of Big Nick, the detective, and Donnie, the gangster.
In this action film, actor Gerard Butler continues his hunt across Europe for O’Seah Jackson Jr, who this time finds himself involved in diamond trafficking and the fearsome Panther mafia.
“This is a good start for the second part of a detective saga. The weekend figure is above average for the genre, with no decline from the release of the first film,” says analyst David Gross.
“This kind of film is made for the public, not for the critics, and the score given by the spectators is very good (B+ CinemaScore),” he added.
In second place roars the hyperrealistic feature film Mufasa: The Lion King of Disney with 13.2 million dollars in revenue. After a resounding start last week, the film continues its good performance in theaters in the United States and Canada.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3adaptation of the eponymous video game, occupies third place, with 11 million revenues recorded this weekend.
The animation gives way to the gothic fable Nosferatu, remake from the 1922 horror film, where Lily-Rose Depp plays a young woman trapped in the grip of a vampire.
The macabre film, in which we also find the actors Nicholas Hoult and Willem Dafoe, collects 6.8 million dollars.
Sunnier, Moana 2 and its heroine take the spectators to Polynesia. The Disney cartoon, which has been showing for many weeks already, is raising $6.5 million this weekend.
