Lara Fabian, aged 54, babysits vivid memories of his parentswhom she will never cease to thank for their support. Thus, she remembers with emotion a significant moment of her adolescence, when her father taught her the value of money. And a few years later, in 2019, she had to face a particularly painful ordeal : the loss of his mother, Maria Luisa Serio, who suffered from Lewy body disease. However, this ordeal strengthened his resilience. As she confided: “It allowed me to turn this loss into a double understanding of the subject.”

This Friday, January 3, on the set of The secret box broadcast on France 3, Lara Fabian was overwhelmed by emotion. Among the many surprises of the evening, the video message from her husband, Gabriel Di George. A couple for 13 years, Lara Fabian and Gabriel cultivate a discreet relationship, but deeply fusional. In his speech, Gabriel did not hesitate to open his heart.
With words filled with tenderness, he testified to his love and admiration for the singer: “Thank you my love for being this incredible woman, this perfect mother, this pillar of our life. I'm so proud of you, of everything you've accomplished, and I want you to know that no matter what happens, I will always be here by your side.” Moved, she confided to Faustine Bollaert: “I am so lucky to be this angel’s wife.”
His daughter Lou pays him a vibrant tribute
And the evening full of emotions did not stop there. Shortly after Gabriel's message, Lara Fabian discovered another big surprise: a video message recorded by his daughter Louwho has just celebrated his 17th birthday. In this moving declaration, Lou expressed all her love for her mother with words of great simplicity. “You were always a mother who protected me, who was there for me, welcoming, considerate” Lou began.
Then, the young girl continued with tenderness: “Your presence always comforts me (…) Even if I don’t tell you or show it often, I love you very much.” These sincere words, coming from his only daughter, were a real source of emotion for Lara Fabian, who could not hold back her tears. The singer experienced an evening intense in surprises and tenderness!
