This year marks the 40e anniversary of the release of this great success of Wham! who still plays happily, and whose video was entirely shot in Switzerland.
It's hard not to know the song Last Christmaseven in 2024: every Christmas for ages, this great success of the group Wham!, formed around George Michael (who died on December 25, in 2016), tours again and again from the month of December, almost everywhere on the planet.
However, the video for this emblematic piece was entirely filmed in Saas-Fee, a splendid resort in Valais, located in a valley neighboring the extremely famous resort of Zermatt.
To mark the 40th anniversary of the release of this song, TikToker Andrea David (aka @filmtourismus) revisited the sites where the video was filmed, with vintage photos to back it up, as we can see here.

For its part, the Saas-Fee resort has launched a series of activities and experiences to mark this anniversary: a “karaoke box”, a thematic walk, an exhibition at the municipal museum, and even a years-themed party. 80, tomorrow evening.
